![]() ![]() I just can't figure out why GarageBand would work fine and MainStage - nada. I will say this, I can't get any of the midi controllers to sound the test signal in MIDI Audio Center.Īny suggestions? I'm not expert or even close in dealing with the MIDI Control Center but maybe therein lies my problem? When I go to MIDI Audio Control Center - all hardware seems to be represented (two midi keyboards, the audio interface). I can see in my MainStage concerts that my midi controllers are sending midi signals the keyboard presses indicate the onscreen keyboards are depressing the same keys CPU usage registers when I press the keys. In other words, everything seems to work fine, except MainStage - no volume. ![]() Perform live with 100 instrument, effect and MIDI plug-ins, or work with Audio Units plug-ins. In the opposite direction I send midi-to my mac> use Logic to catch my controller info there> and pass it out usb> to iPad with studiomux (note I also send audio this way and if you don't return the audio you can make audio come out your iPad with this method) which is good fun too. I sold my bt-4 shortly after using it and realizing it just was not what I needed so I can't fill you in on any ways to use it as I suggested but midi is not that complicated to route around once you get it going somewhere. You can send midi to a Mac multiple ways usb/wifi/bluetooth and the bt-4 has a midi mode that makes it compatible with other midi apps on your iPad. Thank there really is so many better solutions that are affordable - but if you are absolute set on using a bt-4 which is cool, I would suggest trying to chain midi out from your iPad into your Mac and catch it there with desktop Bias FX (or a DAW with midi controlled AU on an instr. Yes, a Duet will sound better than the headphone output, but it also costs 565 more. Does work this this way in your system? Or do you have MIDI signal from the Up and Down buttons? It will give a little cleaner output than the headphone jack. I must know which patch is the correct just by remembering. But, as the Up and Down buttons don’t send MIDI I can’t see the patch row in Bias FX before I select the patch. When I press later a patch change button (A to D) it selects the correct patch in the row. So I can’t assign these buttons to the arrows in Bias FX. Changing patches, pedals and patch rows works good, but I have a question here: buttons Up and Down change the patch row group (0-1-2-3 then 4-5-6-7 and so on), but this occurs only in the unit, as I don’t see MIDI out signal with these two buttons. I use the factory setup for Bias FX, pressing button 2 at start. Hello am using now this unit with Bias FX in iPad. I have the meloaudio for 15 days already. An alternative is the Mastermind LT, that user tafkad says he has one in his set up. No, I still haven’t one of them, but it is almost sure that I will search for the Melo Audio MIDI Commander.
